How do I make a skeleton stand up?
I’m trying to get together ideas for Halloween decorations in the yard. I want a skeleton bride and groom, but all the ones I see to buy cost hundreds of dollars. How can I make a skeleton sturdy enough to be able to stand up in the yard? I thought of putting a pole in the yard and putting the skeleton on that, then dressing it, but how do I actually do that and make his head where it won’t flop over. Any other ideas?

make a "t" shape from 2 poles or sticks
then tie the skeleton on with clear fishing line.
if you have to poke a small hole into the plastic head with a hot needle and string the line threw it.

I saw it suggested to prop up the bride and groom against some tomb stone decorations.
What about using fishing line and a tree so they will appear to be dangling in mid air and have a light on them.
do it yourself stand for 15 each:

get some wire clothes hangers and straighten them out..they will also stick into the ground..and they are also cheap
you can get some cheaper (notice i don’t say cheap, just cheapER) skeleton parts here:

mr. thrifty skeleton is under 50$ and he’s about 3 ft tall. you could just have a midget skeleton wedding couple.
as for making them stand up, or the head not floppy, you could use glue if you don’t have to disassemble it for storage, and then just stake them out in the yard.
